POOR CREATURES examines the role of habitual comforts as a means of survival. Film and soft sculpture explore the role of solace in establishing a sense of security and the bedrock of personal boundaries. With vulnerability embodied as an innocent life form, the tenderness of comfort is compared to the fragility of personal agency, symbolised as a penetrable fabric.
