TIAH TRIMBOLI
Tiah Trimboli is an Australian film editor and director currently based in Milan, Italy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Screen Production from Flinders University, Adelaide in 2021. In the last five years she has worked as both an assistant and assembly editor on various productions in South Australia including the ABC and Windmill Pictures series Beep and Mort (2022), You’ll Never Find Me (2023) and Diabolic (2025). In 2022, she was also a VFX Editor at Technicolor Studios, working on Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2. She has worked as an editor on numerous short films and documentaries, music videos, video installations and advertisements. Namely, The Unrequited Life of Farrah Bruce and Maggie Makes a Cherry Pie both being contenders for the 2025 AACTA (Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards) Best Short Film award. She also won Best Editing at the 2024 South Australian Screen Awards for her work on Farrah Bruce. Tiah also worked as an Editor for Channel 7 News from 2022-23.
More recently, she has begun working as a director with a particular interest in multimedia installation and experimental film. Her work has exhibited at South Australian venues including Sauerbier House, Carclew and the Adelaide Festival Centre’s Moving Image Program. In 2024, her dance film installation STREGA had its opening debut at the Adelaide Film Festival through the Hanlon Larsen Screen Fellowship Program. Her most recent Super8 project titled PICCIONI was the product of her latest residency at The British School at Rome in April 2025, featuring in their Summer Open Studios program. Her latest work on an advertisement for Naomi Murrell ‘Stories Told in Silver and Gold’ is currently in post production.
Tiah is currently looking for editing work in advertisement, films and television in Italy.
